  It was sad to see this place lost for the CTA expansion, it's places like this (yes bars even) that make neighborhoods liveable.

  Perfect use of space. You knew exactly what you were in for with this building - it looks like a cute after work bar, and it was a cute after work bar. Great little neighborhood place.

  A really nice tavern that was thoughtfully renovated after Lou Gianinni passed away (although the stainless steel letters spelling out the original name were very cool). Gianinni's parents owned the building and it originally was a grocery store and tavern. Lou had photos of the original configuration hanging on the wall near the jukebox.
